    >Certainly.<

Seemingly caught in garageband limbo, alka (Bryan Michael) would have liked
to believe that by now, humans would have progressed in their musical tastes.  Besides, a computer can out-solo a stunt guitarist any day.  Experimenting in a genre largely criticized for it’s lack of emotion, Alka blends styles to create music that is both melancholic and uplifting; synthetic yet melodic.  Alka’s music is vast enough to go well with wide open spaces or condensed urban settings… it is the place where lucidity and obscurity meet.

Alka is quickly becoming one of the world’s most respected IDM artists.  His
unique blend of modular synthesis accentuates even the most subtle details of analog sound, in a sea of IDM rhythm and playful melody.  Many would argue that his technique in the genrwe is nothing short of elite.  Alka also recently contributed some drum programming to Roger O”Donnell’s (Ex-Cure, Thompson Twins, Psychedelic Furs) latest solo release “Songs From The Silver Box” on 99x/10 records.  (taken from Electronic Eel Records)

He was recently chosen the producer of the month on Ambient Records, congratulations!

For more info and fresh tunes check out his Reverb Nation site, last.fm or his MySpace page and Discogs… or follow the new trend and follow him on Twitter. Or just simply listen to his music, I tell you it’s worth it! 🙂
